Dr.
Mauro Cassese is actively engaged in scientific research and training worldwide, through proctoring sessions regarding percutaneous
transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). The acquisition of this technique requires a long period of specialisation and training, under the supervision of a proctor, i.e. a professional medical trainer, with vast experience, capable of training fellow heart surgeons to perfect their technique.
